Having first seen the Force of Nature Steam Rocket Bike at Melbourne Raceway a couple of months ago it was great to see it tackle the full 1/4 mile at Santa Pod Raceway during Bug Jam 36. Graham Syke's 'Force of Nature' is a steam powered 'Rocket' motorcycle built for drag racing, record breaking, exhibitions and events. It is the fastest and quickest steam powered bike in the world! It uses the latent energy of super-heated pressurised water released through De laval nozzles, where it turns to steam and creates the thrust to propel the bike forwards.
