Dr Marcus on the American supply of cluster bombs to Kiev

In his latest appearance on Al Mayadeen, Dr Marcus Papadopoulos contended that the decision to supply cluster bombs to the Ukrainian Government is a sign of abject desperation and abject frustration on behalf the American Government over the direction of the war in Ukraine. He said that the reason for why Washington has decided now to send cluster bombs to Kiev is on account of the calamity that is the so-called counter-offensive of the Ukrainian Army in Zaporozhie and in Donestsk. Furthermore, Dr Marcus said that now the Russian Army is entrenched in Ukraine, nothing can dislodge it. Referring in more detail to the so-called Ukrainian counter-offensive, Dr Marcus commented that if this was going to be successful, the Ukrainian military should firstly have gained air supremacy, and should secondly have pounded the Russian defence lines for weeks on end with artillery and air power. And yet, there are no Ukrainian aircraft in the sky, and there was no pounding of Russian defences. Instead, the Ukrainian High Command simply ordered its ground forces to attack what are the strongest defence fortifications in the world with the inevitable result that these Ukrainian ground forces would be slaughtered.
