With two team members trapped in icy, snowy roads states away from the shelter, the remaining Horse Shelter Heroes had to plan for the auction rescue and intake without them. The auction was a huge success with 19 precious lives being rescued from the slaughter pipeline! A rescued horse purchased in the parking lot had the worst broken leg you have ever seen.
