This was the first time the song was recorded with vocals, and the only version with the original Spanish lyrics. In the early 1960s, American lyricist Norman Gimbel wrote new English lyrics for “¿Quién será?“, entitled “Sway“. Gimbel’s version was first recorded by Bobby Rydell in 1963, and then by Dean Martin in 1968. 📜 Lyrics: When marimba rhythms start to play Dance with me, make me sway Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore Hold me close, sway me more. Like a flower bending in the breeze Bend with me, sway with ease When we dance, you have a way with me Stay with me, sway with me. Other dancers may be on the floor Dear, but my eyes will see only you Only you have that magic technique When we sway, I go weak. I can hear the sounds of violins Long before it begins Make me thrill as only you know how Sway me smooth, sway me now.
