Lina Medina, in Peru, gave birth at the age of 5. She was born in 1933, and supposedly on May 14, 1939, became the youngest mother known to history. At first, doctors assumed she had a large tumour, but it soon turned out that she was, in fact, seven months pregnant. Lina delivered a healthy baby boy. Later, doctors diagnosed her with a rare condition called ’Mccune Albright syndrome’, one of the symptoms is very early puberty in girls. Lina’s first child sadly succumbed to cancer, aged just 40.
