Chaired by journalist and former Climate Change Editor at Nature, Dr Gabrielle Walker, this discussion explores stories of climate adaptation from humanity's past, and the importance of adaptation in the future. The panelists include environmental journalist, broadcaster and former online editor of New Scientist, Gaia Vince, polar and paleoclimate expert Professor Eric Wolff FRS and archaeologist of Alaskan Indigenous sites Dr Rick Knecht. This event is part of the public programme accompanying the Citi exhibition Arctic: culture and climate at the British Museum (22 October 2020 – 21 February 2021), presented in collaboration with The Royal Society.
