This is a documentary of Kensington, Philadelphia at night. Kensington is known as one of the poorest area's in the United States. Homelessness is a huge issue, and from the looks of it it's getting worse. Crime is over 124% of the national average, and poverty affects upwards of 65% of it's residents. The median income is 24% less than the national average, and unemployment is at a staggering 9.3%. Drug use is unfortunately quite rampant here, even though many efforts are in place to help. Illegal drug use is never condoned, please seek help for you or a loved one if you are going through issues. This video is designed to help people understand the complexity of issues here and for a hope of better understanding a path for fixing these problems mentioned.
