Civil War song? Not really: this is a song by the great Corb Lund, one of the greatest country singer/author of our times. Though he's still a young guy, he sure writes some intense lyrics. I had the honor and pleasure to perform it along with my good buddy Woody “Woodpecker“ Scandolaro on the marching snare drum. He also did most of the video recording work. Woody plays the drums in a great band called Il Capro, check them out here: We're playing in the fields at sunset, because that's how we roll here in the countryside.
