The gun fires and away they go. Camera pans with them. LV. They come into a bend with Kathleen Sullivan in a nice lead, camera pans along with them. She goes into a bend with a nice lead followed by the others. SV. Crowd looking on. LV. Skaters coming into bend towards us, Kathleen leading, she takes a tumble and the others go skating by as she picks herself up but she collapses onto the ice as the others cross the winning line. SV. Men lined up, gun fires and camera pans with them as they start racing. SV. Crowd looking on. LV. Pan with Ken Bartholomew in leading as skaters go into bend. LV. Pan down the back straight, and turning, Bartholomew falls bringing somebody else down. The other skater manages to get to his feet while the others sweep round the last bend and over the line.
