Der Heilige Krieg/Священная война is a Soviet military song which was created in 1941, after Operation Barbarossa. After the song was written, the song became famous and became one of the most iconic Soviet war songs. It emphasizes the Soviet people's determination to defend their homeland against the Fascist invasion. There is a rare German version, where this version has German lyrics which is different from the common version and this version is sung by Feliks Dzierzynski Musikkorps.
