How to make Judy hopps from disney’s Zootopia / Zootropolis as a cake topper using modelling paste / fondant or polymer clay. In this video tutorial I show you how to make the character Judy Hopps from the new Disney film Zootopia! ( or Zootropolis if you are in the uk ) I use Laped modelling paste to create the Zootopia figure once I have created the structure from wire. I am using a dummy cake / polystyrene cake to insert the wire into. You could use regular gum paste / fondant with tylose powder, although I find the Laped modelling paste is a bit better for sculpting with. You can find links to all the products below. It took above 5 hours to make this Judy Hopps cake topper so I had to speed it up an awful lot to fit everything in.
