Reba McEntire is not wasting any time to make herself comfortable on “The Voice”. The country music legend, who will join the panel of coaches for Season 24 of NBC’s singing competition show, surprised the audience and the contestants by taking Blake Shelton’s seat during the live semi-final on Monday night. McEntire, who served as a “mega mentor” earlier this season, will replace Shelton as he wraps up his final season on “The Voice”. She will coach alongside Gwen Stefani, John Legend and Niall Horan, who have all previously appeared on the show. “I’m looking forward to being here with all of y’all. You treated me so nicely,” McEntire said. “I appreciate the hospitality so much that you showed me earlier, and to be able to come in and form my team, I’m so looking forward to it.” Shelton, who was one of the original coaches when the show debuted in 2011, jokingly protested McEntire’s move. “Do you mind? I still have a week left,” he said, to which she replied, “No, I like this chair.”
