Georges Lemaître is the father of the Big Bang theory. In presenting his idea he described a “Primeval Atom“ from whose fission the universe was born. A neutron star is effectively a large atomic nucleus and a match to Lemaître's Primeval Atom. In this vlog I discuss an editorial note about Georges Lemaître's paper 1927 “A homogeneous universe of constant mass and increasing radius accounting for the radial velocity of extra-galactic nebulae“ and the history of his discoveryby Jean-Pierre Luminet. My Big Bang Kilonova Thesis Editorial note to: Georges Lemaître, A homogeneous universe of constant mass and increasing radius accounting for the radial velocity of extra-galactic nebulae.
