“Just-face. Mercury (Stanley Lupino) and Meander (Jay Laurier) differ slightly“ C/U of Stanley, then Jay. They appear to be talking to each other, having a heated debate. “June“ and the Mullaney Brothers dance the moments away - “ The three dance arm in arm. Everyone seems to be dressed in Roman style tabards. It is quite a cute and funny little dance. C/U of the three as they sing and dance - June is so lovely! “But, a Football is a non-starter when “Stanley“ tries it“ Stanley does a comedy routine dressed in a striped jersey with boots with little wings on the back. His “football“ is a balloon which eventually bursts. Note: “Phi-Phi“ was a C.B. Cochran production that played at the London Pavilion for 133 performances. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
