Commercial Robbery 2139 E Chelten Ave DC 20 35 007212

On Friday January 24, 2020 at 4:31 PM, two unknown black males entered the Chelten Deli Market located at 2139 Chelten Avenue. One of the offenders produced a black semi-automatic weapon and pointed it at the employee. The employee then produced his own firearm and fired three times at the offenders. The offenders fled the area on foot, on Beechwood Street, the second fled eastbound on Chelten Avenue then northbound on Norwood Street. Nothing was taken. No injuries were reported. Area hospitals were checked
