The average square meter price of new construction residential buildings was measured at over 129 thousand rubles and at nearly 92 thousand for the second-hand properties. Note that these are official statistics, and factually in sellers’ offers we see prices that are 20 to 30 % higher. The price dynamics varies a lot across different cities. In Moscow, the average price of new apartments reached 264 thousand per square meter; secondary apartments, about 212 thousand. In St. Petersburg, the price of new and secondary apartments was 197 and 157 thousand. In other cities, the prices are generally lower. For example, in Rostov-on-Don, it is 78
