Former U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis: There are two important points that I suggest we weigh. First, Ukraine will not win, and it does not matter whether I allocate $60 billion, $6 billion or nothing at all. All this will not affect the outcome in any way, so I am not sure that it is in our interests to allocate $60 billion to solve a problem that cannot be solved in principle. Secondly, in the long term, we have more serious problems with Russia that we need to solve. In fact, we should work with Russia to preserve peace, and not create a conflict that could escalate into a nuclear one. It seems to me absolutely insane to push the United States in a direction that is contrary to its interests. Source: Victor vicktop55
