Is It On - Is It Off? - 41:58 “Bit ’A Sweet“ (formerly known as “The Satisfactions“) - a group of Long Island (NY). In 1967 the band signed a contract with the “MGM“ and her debut with the single “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind / Is It On - Is It Off?“. Both songs were performed by them in the 1968 film “Blonde On A Bum Trip“. In the same year the band released their only album “Hypnotic 1“ on the label “ABC“. The album was produced by Steve Duboff, who also wrote most of the band’s material. Despite the appeal of the album, it was not a commercial success and the group eventually disbanded. The album as a guest featured Vincent Bell, a session guitarist, also known as the inventor of a number of models of electric guitars, including the first electric 12-string guitar and an electric sitar. Russell Leslie subsequently recorded with a group of “Neon“, and then became a session drummer. Steve Duboff died of cancer in 2004 at age 63.
