Toward the end of last year, it was announced that The Conjuring 4 is in the works at New Line Cinema, with James Wan and Peter Safran producing and David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who previously worked on the scripts for The Conjuring 2 and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, writing the screenplay. Wan has previously hinted that The Conjuring 4 could turn out to be the last film in the franchise… and if it is, it has a fitting title for a final installment. While at CinemaCon, the official convention of the National Association of Theatre Owners, Warner Bros. revealed that the next movie is titled The Conjuring: Last Rites. Nothing is known about the plot at this time, and the movie also doesn’t have a director attached to it at the moment. The title reveal for The Conjuring: Last Rites isn’t the only bit of promotion Warner Bros.
