Strong winds lashed the Sacramento region, downing trees and knocking out power to more than 300,000 customers as California braced for another series of storms that brought more flooding, more outages and tree damage, as well as dangerous mudslides and mountain snowfall. Wind gusts reached nearly 90 miles per hour. At least one person was killed by a falling tree, the fire department said. About 220,000 customers were left without electricity. A municipal utility district official said the company had dozens of crews working on the ground, but they did not know the extent of the damage. “The West Coast remains the target of a relentless parade of cyclones that are forming and intensifying over the Pacific Ocean, heading straight for the North American continent,“ the Weather Forecast Center forecasters said. #californiaflooding #sacramentoflooding #atmosphericriver #weather #flooding #california #sacramento #northerncalifornia #northerncaliforniastormupdate #californiafloods2023 #fl
