This roll of silent stock footage shows various military scenes. It begins with shots of an M46 Patton tank, probably from the Marine 1st Tank Battalion, firing on North Korean or Chinese positions during the Korean War. At 2:34, a Marine Corps aircraft -- probably a Spad / A-1 Skyraider, is seen dropping bombs on enemy positions. At 3:32 are shots of a PBY Catalina seaplane from WWII era. At 5:44, the aircraft spots the life raft of an air crew floating in the Pacific. At 6:08 are shots of a carrier task force. At 7:08, Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat fighters are shown on the deck of an aircraft carrier. At 8:38, a Cold War era missile launch is shown, with the nose cone payload recovered after the mission by a small boat.
