May 29, 2024: This is Iceland's first 4K 24/7 live stream of the volcanic activity near the town of Grindavik Iceland. At approximately 12:45pm local time on May 29, 2024 a new fissure opened up in the Sundhnúk crater row. This camera is situated on the southern tip of Þorbjörn. Þorbjörn is a 243 m high volcanic mountain next to the town of Grindavík. The camera is usually pointed Northeast at the erupting volcano but may occasionally pan north or south to observe other features of the area. It is about 2km away from the erupting volcano.
