In this live video we will discuss: Deuteronomy 15:19-16:22 Consecration of Firstborn Animals (15:19–23): Firstborn male animals are to be set apart for the Lord. They must not be used for labor or sheared. They are to be eaten before the Lord annually, unless blemished, in which case they may be eaten at home. Passover Instructions (16:1–8): The Israelites are to celebrate the Passover in the month of Abib. They must sacrifice at the place God chooses, not in their towns. The festival lasts seven days with no leavened bread; the first day includes a sacred assembly. Feast of Weeks (16:9–12): After seven weeks from the start of the harvest, they are to hold a feast. They should give offerings in proportion to God's blessings and remember their slavery in Egypt. Feast of Tabernacles (16:13–17): This is a week-long festival at the end of the harvest. Everyone—men, women, children, servants, Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows—should rejoice. All males must appear before the Lord with offerings. Justice and Leadership (16:18–22): Judges and officials are to be appointed in every town. They must judge fairly without partiality or bribes.
