The world’s tallest sandcastle was completed last week in northern Denmark. The castle measures meters high, 3.5 meters higher than the last Guinness world record holder. The castle, which resides in the town of Blokhus, was built around a wooden structure and used about 4,860 tons of Danish sand. Thirty of the world’s most talented sand sculptors were called upon to carve the castle and were directed by Dutch artist Wilfred Stijger. (AP)
