Shaping a raw cut edge on a black diabase stone

This is a work of precision rather than brute force. For that we use larger hammers. I was testing the camera on my cell phone. Pretty satisfied with the result; as you can see all the little, sharp pieces of granite flying all over the place. Also the sound is very direct. You can clearly hear the distinct, metallic sound of this particular granite. It contains a good deal of iron and therefore is quite heavy and also very dense.
