#Repost @ (original) ・・・ 97 MINUTES BEHIND THE SCENES FEATURETTE (97 releasing in the UK July 10th) The goal of this movie from its inception, was to take audiences on a thrill ride and have them feel like they are on the plane with the passengers. Everything was designed to achieve this immersive experience. The SOUND DESIGN replicates the feeling of a turbulent plane ride, with everything from engine noise to passenger reactions carefully crafted. VISUALLY, the film mimics how we see when stressed, using techniques like quick cuts, selective focus, and smart use of lighting, POV shots and handheld. In POST-PRODUCTION, we used medical monitoring equipment to test viewer’s physiological responses and utilized this data to amplify the film’s emotional and suspenseful elements.
