In Australia, two former Russian citizens were detained on charges of preparing for espionage - the husband and wife were allegedly planning to transfer secret information to Moscow Kira and Igor Korolev, were detained in Australia. They have been living in the country for more than 10 years, but recently Kira, being an employee of the local MoD, made a trip to Russia. It is alleged that while on vacation, she gave her husband instructions on how to log into her account and access materials to send. It is alleged that the couple planned to transfer info to Russia, but the authorities cannot prove this fact - if investigators are able to confirm this fact, they face a more serious charge. It is also alleged that Igor allegedly maintained relations with employees or branches of the Russian special services. Were they after Australias’s Boomerang technology?
