Fire Ando was back at Tsukuba in the ESCORT Evo 9 looking for that 49-second lap. Would this be the day? HKS and NOB Taniguchi were also out testing the new GR86 demo car. I was pulling tripe duty this day, supporting Sougo in his first run of the season, shooting as usual, and driving my Prelude for the first time this season as well. That meant I wasn’t able to get coverage of all entrants this day so apologies if you don’t see times for some cars that you see in the video.
