Bloody Sunday, Derry (30 January 1972)

1 Para fire at least 108 high velocity live rounds (all shots aimed to kill in accordance with their training). 28 unarmed civilians shot, 14 murdered. 2010 - All victims declared innocent by Lord Saville. There are now 18 suspects. 2011 - Madden & Finucane lodge detailed submissions following extensive analysis of evidence to BSI & the Inquiry’s conclusions. 2012 - Police investigation begins. 2014 - Judicial review proceedings lodged in the High Court when murder investigation is suspended. 2019 - Just 1 Para soldier charged. JUSTICE DELAYED - JUSTICE DENIED
