(21 Jan 1997) T/I: 10:52:26 The leader of France's main far-right party, Jean Marie Le Pen, on Tuesday (21/1) arrived in Belgrade to discuss possible cooperation with the Serbian Radical Party and its ultranationalist leader Vojislav Seselj. Le Pen, who heads the nationalist Front National, is often accused of intolerance and rascism. After the meeting with Seselj Le Pen held a news conference and said the Serbs should not confuse what the French people think with what the government says. The French government has supported Serbian Opposition calls for the results of the local elections last November to be respected. SHOWS:
