Ivan Dodosov is called the most famous tanker in the Special Military Operation zone. At age 34, he is a Hero of Russia. The fighter was given this prestigious award for helping break through the enemy’s defenses at a strategically important point — the town of Popasnaya, LNR. In the spring of 2022, Major Dodosov received an order to seize one of the Ukrainian fortified areas. The battalion commander took a tank platoon and went by a circular route to get behind enemy lines. The battle was unequal: Dodosov had three vehicles; the Ukrainian army had ten.
