According to legend, the old farm in Serra da Canastra served as a shelter for drovers during cold nights. Travelers were provided with simple accommodations to rest. However, what they didn't know was that a deadly trap waited on the ceiling: the zagaia, a log covered in sharp blades, ready to be launched during the early hours of the morning. The farm's owners took advantage of the guests' moment of vulnerability to steal their lives, money and livestock. The plot was only discovered thanks to an unexpected gift given to one of the farm's employees by one of the drovers.
