Large crowds throng in the streets of London to catch a glimpse of the procession of the Lord Mayor's Show. A cavalry band parade past. A banner from St Bartholomew's hospital proceeds a float decorated in the fashion of a large medieval castle. People in period costume stand on the float. Several banners and floats mention the British Commonwealth and represent countries including Australia and India (represented by three elephants). The Lord Mayor's ornate coach passes by, drawn by a team of six horses. The coach pulls up outside the Guildhall. MS of the Lord Mayor of London and his retinue processing out of the building.
