Christmas walk in snowy Prague. I visited Wenceslas Square, Old Town Square, Charles Bridge with a view of Prague Castle and Kampa. The Old Town Square is surrounded by historical buildings, among which the Old Town Hall with the Astronomical Clock, the Týn Cathedral, the Hussite Church of St. Nicholas in the Old Town, the Kinsky Palace and the house “At the Stone Bell“ stand out. On the square there is a monument to Master Jan Hus and the Marian Column. The Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo houses around the perimeter of the square have Romanesque and Gothic foundations. Wenceslas Square has witnessed many important historical events. It is a traditional place for demonstrations, celebrations and other mass gatherings. It is often cited as the second largest square in Prague and the Czech Republic. The upper part of the square is the busiest pedestrian thoroughfare in the country.
