In this video I show how to glue cracked guitar side using hide glue. And do a fret leveling. So here my thoughts about hide glue. In cons it’s require additional equipment, time to prepare (it’s definitely not an option for a busy days in shop), it is tricky in use and not really versatile. But in pros it’s really good when you need to glue some thin cracks (like this one in video) and make them almost invisible, it’s easy to clean. It sets quickly so it great for places where you can’t use clamp, I don’t think its superior than regular titebondish types of wood glue, or this is the right way, this is the right glue.
