During the Second World War, there were many brutal guards of Auschwitz Concentration Camp who were notorious for their actions. Kurt Hugo Muller was a guard who worked inside of Block 11 the torture and punishment block inside of Auschwitz. He was responsible for the slaughter of inmates, and he took part in the selections but also Muller was responsible for the locking up of prisoners. He was also known as the 'man with the dog,' as his pet dog savaged the inmates. But Muller was sentenced to death following the Auschwitz trial and in a Polish prison's execution chamber.
