Israel has downed a drone using its ship-mounted Iron Dome system for the first time, the Israel Defence Forces reported. The naval version of Israel’s missile defence system intercepted what appeared to be a drone near the southern city of Eilat shortly before midnight on Monday, the military said, marking its first operational use.
