Drawing from a wide array of influences ranging from funk to techno, jazz, and everything in between, the one thing that is consistent is the quality. Now, marking their first release of 2023, Dossa & Locuzzed are back in a big way with a two part single, “Enough” featuring Eviya and “Floating”. “Enough” is an upbeat liquid number, opening with the genre’s favourite “Think” break, used in a bouncy and bubbly way before Eviya’s enchanting vocals take center stage. Full of jazzy melodies, this liquid-esque track is given the Dossa & Locuzzed twist with a drop that is sure to catch crowds off guard, standing in firm juxtaposition of the soothing sounds of the intro and bridge. The flipside of the single, “Floating”, takes us back to Dossa & Locuzzed’s roots with plenty of funky-fied energy and a dark yet groovy drop that was made with the dancefloor in mind. A fresh take on genre staples, Dossa & Locuzzed have once again produced something that is simultaneously nostalgic and new, something that has become a signature for the duo.
