In the capital of Bangladesh, Dhaka, two Islamist militants sentenced to death for the murder of American secular blogger Avijit Roy escaped immediately after the court hearing. The Wire writes about this on November 21. The convicts were helped by bikers who sprayed chemicals towards the police and created a smoke screen, after which they disappeared.
