Orphans Know More is a ministry of YWAM Harpenden which partners with African families to address the needs of children orphaned by AIDS and war, giving them a face, a family, and a future. The program currently assists 19 Ugandan families caring for 146 children. OKM raised £45,000 last year, enabling these children to attend school, vocational training and university; improving food production for each family; providing micro-enterprise loans; and funding a local social worker and book-keeper.
