Radioactive Lens -- Fujinon 50mm f/1.4 (early type -- pre-EBC) Lens: FUJINON 1:1.4/50 FUJI PHOTO FILM CO. 771xxx LENS-JAPAN This video shows the radioactivity from a 50mm f/1.4 Fujica camera lens, as measured by a simple geiger counter with a pancake probe. This lens probably contains thorium oxide, which causes it to be slightly radioactive. This lens is very active at both the front and back, which is unusual.
