* I had the idea of making this cover that could best represent what it would be like if the album Revolution Renaissance had been officially released by the band Stratovarius. * This is the demo for the planned “Revolution Renaissance“ album that would have featured the then-Stratovarius line-up, still including Timo Tolkki. Tolkki then took the songs to his new band (also called Revolution Renaissance) and they were re-recorded as the first album with slightly different lyrics and arrangements. Some of these tracks were used by Frontiers Records on the Revolution Renaissance release “EP“ in 2010. In 2022, Stratovarius released their album “Survive“, which on the vinyl version has a song called “Heroes“ (also called “Heroes of the Night“) as a bonus track, and it is a totally different song from the demo.
