The October Revolution Parade of November 7, 1941 was a parade in honor of the October Revolution of 24 years earlier, the Revolution of 1917. It is the most famous parade because it took place during the Battle of Moscow during the Great Patriotic War as the Russians call it, in the West known as World War II. The General Secretary of the Communist Party, at the time Joseph Stalin, gave a speech to the soldiers before the parade started on Red Square, these soldiers were to go into battle immediately after the parade.
