The Steyr-Mannlicher Model 1895 is a straight-pull bolt-action carbine chambered in 8x56mmR, which is a good hefty round, comparable to .30-06. The ammo I am shooting is Austrian surplus from 1938, which while really cool, does unfortunately mean I have to break out the windex after shooting to prevent corrosion. I love the action of this rifle; it is very crisp, and lives up to its reputation for being extremely fast to operate. The en-bloc clips are also very easy to load, though since they just fall out
