I designed and made a baby toy for my soon-to-come nephew. I wanted to make something safe for a baby to play with and will almost certainly put in his mouth. I chose not to apply a finish, so it is all natural. The elephant is made from hard maple and sanded to 320, so it is super smooth, but shouldn't splinter. The rod in the middle is walnut with two purpleheart rattles. If there is interest, I can provide the template. Check out my website for plans, templates and more! Merch now available!
