MV Tricia 23.7 metre catamaran passenger ferry by Dongara Marine

MV Tricia joined the Transperth system in December 2019, less than a year after Dongara Marine secured a government contract to build a new ferry for Western Australia’s Public Transport Authority. Built entirely at our Port Denison facility, the new aluminium catamaran has 148 seats and an on-board toilet, and is marginally longer, sleeker and faster than Transperth’s two existing low-wash catamarans to help maintain the very busy ferry timetable on the Elizabeth Quay to South Perth route.
