Chaos magic, witch battles, and a whole lot of wires are all contributors to bringing Wanda Maximiff, AKA the Scarlet Witch’s powers to life! Elizabeth Olsen gives it her all in every performance. Regardless of what setting she’s actually performing in, the acting we get is top-notch. When WandaVision came along and we got to see Maximoff really embrace her Scarlet Witch powers, well you can bet the CGI did a lot of favors. From her using them to bring Vision to life to constructing her fantasy world in Westview - all those layers of CG lighting and powers were key to show just how epic this power really was. When Wanda made her first full movie appearance, she made sure to leave her mark, showing off her elegant and intricate hand movements as Wanda’s power choreo, with the dash of red glow included hinting at all the magic we’d see soon enough. Her power seems to know no bounds! Civil War was the perfect opportunity to show off a bit of what was to come - and her arm choreo looks VERY different without all the CG added - yet somehow, Olsen pulls it off! Avengers: Endgame saw one of the coolest images in the Marvel world - all the strong, powerful women side by side - and you know the Scarlet Witch was included among them, radiating power through the screen. Seeing her performances and development throughout the MCU, especially in WandaVision has proven just how powerful both Wanda Maximoff and Elizabeth Olsen are. The Scarlet Witch vibes are strong and no doubt will bring more action and excitement to the MCU in the future.
