Art Demo No. 12 - abstract landscape with acrylic paint. A demo in different techniques

(Deutsche Übersetzung folgt weiter unten) A summary of the various steps of work on my painting “Glacier melt“ I’s an abstract landscape on a square canvas. first I primed this with Gesso. Before I started with the acrylic paints, I applied a structural paste without grain and allowed to dry. I do not use a specific brand and therefore do not want to advertise. I usually mix my various shades together. Sometimes even directly on the canvas during painting. Just be a little brave and experiment something. I used the following tools in this painting: Spatula, pallets knives and brushes in various sizes. To mix my colors a little more transparent if necessary I use a Pouring medium plus Floetrol. This has the advantage that the colors do not lose luminosity in this case. The picture, like most of my paintings, I built up in many different layers and even if many wonderful details disappear again, the finished painting would not be the same if I would omit these intermediate steps.
