In a Hollywood system where the only integrity left is neither artistic or moral but only financial, Warner Bros. decided to digitally alter the infamous centerpiece sequence of Stanley Kubrick’s last film, Eyes Wide Shut. This is the scene after the digital insertion of additional figures to obscure sexual acts. The scene was only edited for it’s US release. Other region releases were unedited. Here are the additions, as I’ve noticed. - The man standing at the foot of the couch at 0:20. - The two women standing in front of the table at 0:35. - The two men sitting / standing in front of the dining hall table at 0:55. - The man and woman standing to the left of the narrow doorway at 1:25. - The man and woman sitting in the middle of the room at 1:38. Just one more sign of the hypocrisy of the MPAA, where graphic violence will earn a PG-13 or less as long as it doesn’t include the dreaded f-bomb or a glimpse of nudity. It&#
