In this video, Restrap founder Nathan Hughes talks about a special project of ours, where we worked together with Woodrup Cycles in Leeds and Kingston Customs in Hull to build the ultimate bikepacking bike. We talk through the full process of building a bespoke custom bike and look at things you might need to consider, from designing up the geometry, through to small details and paintwork. This particular bike has been built to Nathan's specifications, which were based around having a clean build, that can handle most types of road surface while carrying luggage. Finishing touches include the a laser cut rear bridge with the Restrap cross needles, and paintwork designed to work with a loaded bike finished in silver leaf with Yorkshire contours.
